We thoroughly enjoyed your Sicilian Tour. From the moment we met everyone in the group who were going to be our travel companions for the next week we knew we had chosen a group that was fun & full of life.
The olive grove was an eye opener. Despite not being enamored with tasting olive oil, we still enjoyed the experience. And the food cooked by Nonna was delicious. The market, learning the correct way to make pasta, the meals, the time spent with friends - every thing was fantastic. Even in the evenings when we all get together and talk, laugh, drink- it was fantastic
Thank you Francesca for your diligent work in organising us and your friendship was fantastic.
We're sure you've done it - clipped that article about Italy, been to a wine tasting and saved the bottle, or drooled over a lovely dip of olive oil - and said you'd love to go there some day - then simply added it to your bucket list. STOP! There's no need for dreaming. We've traveled with Francesca to Umbria and Tuscany. We now have memories that are far better than dreams. Her relationships with locals and her years of experience hosting her small groups makes it all come true effortlessly. She offers advice on getting there, how to pack, and can answer any question or concern you may have. Like so many others of her guests, we have chosen to do more - this time Puglia and Calabria, maybe even Sicily. Your light is green - GO!
Mark Twain said "Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones you did."
It was a pleasure to travel with Francesca and the other 13 members of our tour. It would be hard to choose a favorite experience as every day was filled with interesting and fun activities...and delicious food! Lunch on the rooftop at the winery, looking over at Mount Viscuvious and celebrating Francesca's birthday was something special. The boat ride out to Capri, with Bocelli singing and bringing happy tears to our eyes, keeps replaying in my mind. The trip to Ravello, the beautiful gardens of Villa Cimbrone, the views from the Infinity Terrace, and lunch in the garden with too much pizza (is that even possible?).
The two cooking classes were extremely well organized and both venues and instructors were superb in their direction and hospitality. I enjoyed every minute.
I was just in awe of the beauty of Amalfi...the hillsides, the blue blue sea, the architecture, the friendly people, the lemons! I hope to return to Italy in the not so distant future, maybe Tuscany next time.
You should book a trip with Lazy Italian Culinary Tours, you won't be disappointed!
The Amalfi Coast was our second tour with Francesca. She definitely wasn't lazy, because a lot of detailed planning went into the trip. We had a fun activity every day from cooking classes to winery tours, plenty of time for shopping and eating gelato and a tour of a vertical lemon farm on our day off. I highly recommend seeing Italy with Francesca. In addition to cultural and culinary adventures, she has a knack for attracting a harmonious group of generally nice and interesting people to tour with.
Sardinia was such a beautiful place. I love their connection and respect for the people, land, sea, animals and environment. Great food and towns. We saw and did so much without having to drive too far. No crowds or crazy drivers. The people were lovely and so friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back there.
Our trip to Sicily was amazing! The Lazy Italian Culinary Adventures Tour was, hands down, the best way to tour Sicily! This tour beat all my expectations. It ran like a well oiled machine! From the hotel accommodations, transportation, cooking classes and guided tours, we got the absolute most out of every stop we made. My parents are a big fan of yours and so are we! I 1000% recommend any of your tours!
Thank you for an amazing experience!
