CULINARY ADVENTURES FAQs: Why are not all meals covered? These are culinary adventures and there will be plenty of eating! Between our cooking classes, winery visits, culinary walking tours, visit to specialty food producers and planned meals, we will not be lacking food! That said, we’ve purposely left out a few meals to give you the option to choose your own restaurant or perhaps opt for a lighter snack or “spuntino” in place of a full meal.
This seems like a lot of walking, should I be worried? All of our tours will involve a certain amount of walking so there will be moderate activity throughout the week, which is good considering all the food we will be eating! Comfortable shoes are strongly advised. For our day trips and excursions, private drivers with mini vans have been secured.
Do I have to participate in every activity? Absolutely not! You will have the option to sit out any of our scheduled activities.
Will we have to change hotels? You will not! Having traveled back to my native Italy on a regular basis, I have found that traveling between regions and changing hotels can be exhausting plus it doesn’t give one enough time to truly appreciate the area, so we have opted for one location with several day trips during the week.
Will I have any free time on my own? Absolutely! We have allotted for some free time throughout the week for you to wonder on your own or relax at the villa or hotel.
Are children allowed? With adult supervision of at least one participating adult, children 10 years or older are allowed and will be able to participate in all activities.
I still have questions, who do I contact? Francesca Montillo, owner & tour leader is availble to answer all of your emails. Contact her at: firstname.lastname@example.org
